After a phenomenal breakfast we learned some hard, valuable lessons. Don't book a rental car in a foreign country through Travelocity, take locals advice and always bring more money than you think you need! Driving was somewhat challenging and it was a tough second day on the road. We saw crocodiles for our first time and they are ridiculously scary! I pretended I was Mick Dundee for the rest of the day!
Once we got in the water all of our stress and worries from earlier in the day washed away. We met Good Time Charlie down in Domincal who's vibes were off the chart! From there we made our way down the coast to Uvita where we had one of the best dinners ever at The Dome Drive-Thru. Kevin had this delicious jerk chicken burrito with cinnamon and ginger that knocked his flip flops off! We also enjoyed the biggest coconut of our lives at Playa Uvita where the beach is shaped like a whales tail! Pulling into Villas de Oros where we will be staying for the next two nights gave me butterflies! It's a magical place tucked away in the jungle with monkeys, toucans, macaws and anteaters! Our villa has a deck hanging over the jungle with a hammock chair that swings in the breeze which is where I'll be sitting for the rest of the night listening to the sounds of the Jungle!!!
